Update labor info to match member profile
All Maintenance Connection members have a corresponding labor record in each instance of MC they have access to. You can have labor records automatically update to match changes made to a member profile, or you can allow for different information (such as name and email) in the corresponding records.
Labor preferences
Two preferences determine whether labor records automatically update to match member profiles. Members can make changes to their member profile in the Main Application (MRO) or in the Service Requester. Member details are also updated with SSO provider data (such as from an Active Directory) when they sign into Maintenance Connection using single-sign-on (SSO). In either case, if a member is tied to multiple instances of Maintenance Connection, these preferences only impact corresponding labor records in the instance they have directly signed into.
For updating labor names, go to Preferences > Labor > Labor - Settings > Labor name format and member profile matching.
This preference controls (1) how labor names are formatted in the application and (2) whether labor names should automatically update to match member profiles. To keep labor names from automatically updating, set the preference to None. All other options allow labor names to update automatically based on member profile changes. If you set the preference to None, labor names use the default format, which is Last Name, First Name.
Note that if set to any option other than None, changes made directly to a labor name in the Labor module are overwritten when the user next signs into Maintenance Connection.
For updating labor email addresses, go to Preferences > Labor > Labor - Settings > Update labor email to match member profile?
To automatically update labor email addresses based on member profiles, set to Yes.

Update labor from Membership module
Those with access to update a member in the Membership module can choose to propagate their updates to the corresponding labor record automatically by selecting Update labor record when they make their changes.
